The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
