'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year contract he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which marked the maiden significant honor of his notable career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly think about extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy wait, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
